The Marwil Stables Pro Open Timed Event Jackpots, sanctioned by Cowboys of Color Rodeo are held the Friday night before the Cowboys of Color Rodeo for Austin and Houston. Professional cowboys and cowgirls gather to compete for the “Pot” in Rodeo’s classic timed events. The jackpots are open to the public but space is limited. Come on out and see if you can hold your own with some of the best cowboys and cowgirls on the rodeo circuit today.

CHAMPION BUCKLES WILL BE AWARDED

If you have never competed in a Pro Open Timed Event jackpot, then there are some things you should know;

The 6 events will be governed by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rules and the following:

    1. NO PHONE ENTRIES OR PHOTO COPIED ENTRY BLANKS WILL BE ACCEPTED
    2. All contestants must have a signed Release on file with the Secretary before they are allowed to compete.
    3. Cash only, if entry fees are paid on the day of the event.  There will be a $10.00 Administration fee added.
    4. When using our Online Entry System and paying with your Visa or MasterCard, a $5.00 handling fee will be charged to your account.
    5. Decisions of the judges are Final.
    6. There will be no talking to the judges during competition.
    7. All contestants must wear western hats and long sleeve shirts.
    8. All contestants will be expected conduct him/her as professionals at all times.
    9. Contestants in the timed events must be ready to enter the box when the previous animal is being driven from the arena.
    10. Riding event contestants must be above their stock and ready to get down when previous ride is completed.
    11. If a contestant is not ready to compete when the arena is ready, his stock may be turned out and a no time or no-score will be given.
    12. 15 & under breakaway and girls barrel race birth certificates required.  Age as of 05-01-04.
    13. Entry Fees are NON REFUNDABLE.  In the unlikely event the Marwil Pro Timed Event Jackpot is cancelled, all entry fees paid will be refunded.  If fees were paid by credit card, a credit will be issued back to your card (excluding the handling fee).
